Deux Process – the Colorado invasion

When we think of NY/east coast hip hop, many artists come to mind: KRS-ONE, Beastie Boys, Mos Def, etc. When you think, west coast/California hip hop, we can name many, such as Tupac, NWA, E-40.

But what about Colorado? We wouldn’t think of Colorado as a breeding ground for phat beats and intricate rhymes, but you’d be surprised of the rising talent coming out of there. It’s the Colorado invasion, and representing in the true spirit of independent music is Duex Process.

In February, Fefe and the rest of the Sidewok crew, had the pleasure of interviewing these up and coming hip hop artists, laying down cool beats, and spittin’ hot fire! Below we have the interview as aired on a live broadcast of our hip hop mixshow. Be sure to check it out.
