Monday nights were always something to look forward to. The Mohawkian Princess, Antonic and I would get together to broadcast our choice tracks of the electronic, alt rock, punk, or hip-hop variety.
Once in a while we’d invite a special guest during a live broadcast for an interview and live sometimes a live performance. Mano dio Gracias of the Wildlife did just that for us back in December of 2005.
Here is an excerpt from that live broadcast and some photos (by Warren Moises) from the that night.

Summer of 2005, Sidewok Radio had a chance to catch up with Julie Plug and Parting Glance for exclusive interviews at the 2nd annual Rock for Aids Benefit at Angels night club in San Jose, CA.
Interviews were conducted by the Heterogeneous Mezzanine’s Antonic, and video footage was recorded by Eric Quintana of Hugo Benson Productions. Sidewok interviewer, Fefe Ruji was also there for extra coverage during the event.
Julie Plug headlined that night, with support from Parting Glance, Push to Talk and Evening Episode.
Special thanks to Vanae of Rock Your Awareness for her cooperation with Sidewok Radio.
The legendary Motion Man visited the Beat Suite in September of 2005. DJ B-side and Wicked discuss the state of hip hop with man himself. Motion Man tells all about his projects at the time, and blesses the listeners with live freestyles.
